The Old Schoolroom has been renovated to a high standard with love and attention!  Accommodation comprises of the double bedroom, the twin bedroom, hall, porch, bathroom (with both a shower and a bath), the lounge (with eating area) and kitchen.

 

The Old Schoolroom is double glazed, insulated and has underfloor heating.  There is a peat buring stove in the lounge for those chillier nights.  The garden is private with a lawn, mature trees and shrubs and a seating area.  The Old Schoolroom has its own driveway and off road parking.

 

The Old Schoolroom is fully equipped, all you need to bring are yourselves!  Bedding, linen and towels are provided at no extra cost.  We have highchairs, cots, a buggy and other ' baby bits' available if needed (also for no extra cost).

 

As a welcome there are freshly baked scones, eggs from our chooks, produce from the garden, local milk and Scottish butter.

 

The kitchen is stocked with teas, coffee, sugar, oils, stock cubes, garlic and other wee bits and pieces to make your stay easier.

 

 

 

We are centrally located in Bridgend and are handy for the ferries (to Jura and Colonsay).  We are situated on a bus route and have storage for bicycles and other equipment.

 

We are allergy aware and cannot cater for pets.

 

We are open all of the year around and can cater for short breaks during the Autumn, Winter and Spring.  During the summer the rental week runs from one Saturday at 3pm to the following Saturday at 10am.
